Beneath the Beneath
Gnomes Beneath Book 1
Root and Branch, all things grow, but never forget what lies below.
Gnomes thrive in Danderroot, as they have done for an age. They shepherd plants, sing badly, snack adventurously, and behave nicely. But nice comes with a price. They performed the Forgetting and purged the Great Sadness but now it’s waking up beneath their feet. Marial and her best friends, Pickwick and Willifurd, must solve the mystery to save Danderroot before it falls Beneath the Beneath.
Rot and Ruin, all things die, you’ll burn to real if you climb too high.
Goblins live a rotten existence on the knife edge of ruin, trapped between deadly dangers below and the burning world of light above. G’Nob has a problem: he wants to know “why?” and he wants a way out. But when monsters from the Up Top break in, they awaken the terror in the basement and unleash a cascade of ruin for the goblins. He must find a way to save his own crusty hide and his clan while he’s at it. He might even find some answers to the “whys”.
Beneath the Beneath is an epic fantasy tale about colliding worlds and unlikely heroes who overcome the odds with care and cunning. Equal parts humor and mystery, you will meet ridiculously nice gnomes, despicably likable goblins, and a terrifying golem determined to clean them out of existence like an overachieving clutter guru.

Behind the Beneath
Gnomes Beneath Book 2
A gnome growing goblin. A goblin growing good. Sealed in an underworld city that will define them both.
Marial and her friends have defeated the unhinged Undertaker. Nice! But they are now trapped in the Hollow City, the place G’Nob, their goblin guide, swore never to enter. Sn’oOOOk*!
The city is amazing and altogether too much, but now the only way home is through this abandoned palace. Or is the city so hollow after all? Their only hope is to sneak their way through and not wake the deadly denizens in the dark. If only gnomes didn’t make a happy racket EVERYWHERE they went. Double Sn’oOOOk!
Marial and G’Nob must lead their friends through the traps and trials left by the ancient Makers waking up in their luxurious lairs. Armed only with a hat and a hand mirror, they must use all their wits and gifts to overcome evil and not lose themselves along the way.
* G’Nob says this sometimes. I don’t know what it means, but he seems to feel better screaming it – Pickwick

The Church Ladies grew a home for themselves, raised a child, and created a place where many came to find rest, acceptance, and change.
“The Kingdom of Heaven is like a tiny mustard seed planted in a field. It is the smallest of all seeds but becomes the largest of plants, and grows into a tree where birds can come and find shelter.”
Matthew 13:31-32
